You can report a campaign in Crowdfundly if you have found deceptive activities like:
- Violation of the law
- Misrepresentation of anyone’s identity or deceptive information regarding the campaign beneficiary
- Sharing misleading information about the campaign, it’s beneficiary or the organization
- Not submitting funds to the beneficiary of the campaign
Occasionally there may be some situations where you might question the legitimacy of a campaign. However, such situations may not be considered as instances of fraud on our platform.
The following instances are not considered as fraudulent activities:
- Rumors of fraudulent activities (without concrete evidence)
- Disagreement with the purpose of the campaign
- Disputes or disagreements that arise from familial or custodial reasons
How To Report A Campaign #
Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to report a campaign in Crowdfundly. Note that you can only report a campaign if you have created an account on Crowdfundly.
Step 1: Visit the campaign landing page where you have found fraud. There you will find the ‘Report’ button. Click on it to file a report.
Step 2: You will be redirected to a new page where you have to provide your name, your email address, phone number, your role. You will also have to mention if you know the fundraiser, the reason behind your reporting, and your legal disputes involved with the campaign.
After you have completed the form, click on the ‘Submit’ button. Your report will be submitted to Crowdfundly.
